Born and raised just an hour northeast of Raleigh in Rocky Mount, NC, Devon brings a strong array of skills, experience, and southern charm to the table. Her real estate roots are deeply established from a family of investors, Realtors, and general contractors. She grew up watching her family operate a 100+ unit rental business from home, in addition to her father’s career in sales. Her family is still very involved in real estate today.

Devon received her BA in Communication - Interpersonal and Public from NCSU, which coincidentally prepared her for real estate by effectively navigating intricate details with a variety of people, as well as, mastering sales. During her studies, she interned with a local Realtor in preparation for starting her career in real estate. In 2003, at the ripe age of 21, she began assisting buyers and sellers, but continued her education by receiving 8 industry designations specializing in a variety of focused work, all in lieu of assisting her clients at the highest level possible.

Devon has served on the Board of Directors in previous companies, chaired the Education Committee, served as a local Realtor Political Action Committee liason, been awarded many top performance awards, opened her own firm in 2009, and joined Marti Hampton Real Estate in 2018. Still today, she operates her Property Management business from her company serving Landlords and residential tenants. The opportunity to work alongside an industry legend, Marti Hampton, in sales has been an incredible blessing and empowered her to “stand on the shoulders of a giant,” as Tony Robbins says it best.
